About Us
supportedindependentlivingservices.com.au is an independent service that connects NDIS participants, families and support coordinators with registered supported independent living (SIL) providers who may have support or a vacancy that suits. It's free to use, and we're not a provider or part of the NDIS.
Why We Started
Once SIL is in a plan, finding a provider with the right support, in the right area, with housemates who'll get on, often means ringing provider after provider. We do that part. You tell us what's needed once, and we pass it to a registered SIL provider who may be able to help.
We also write plain-English guides to how supported independent living works, from eligibility to funding and what residents pay. Every guide is checked against the NDIA's own guideline and the NDIS Commission's SIL standards, and links to them.
Who We Are
supportedindependentlivingservices.com.au is run by a small team with a background in digital services and in working with NDIS providers.
How We're Paid
Providers pay us for introductions. That's what keeps the service free for you. It doesn't change what you pay: SIL is funded in your plan, and providers can't charge more than the NDIS price limits. More on how it works.
